As well as this, we want to use our platform to help them spread their unique messages as far and wise as possible.<\/p><h2><strong>Introducing: Rara Avis FC<\/strong><\/h2><p>Rara Avis FC (latin translation: a rare bird) are an inner city women\u2019s football club from Leicester. The club was founded by friends Lubna Azam and Aisha Hansrot just before the pandemic in 2020. They want to continue to build their strong core of players and be able to play in a local league.<\/p><p>Lubna and Aisha are working hard to break down the traditional barriers and old-fashioned pre-conceptions when it comes to South Asians and sport.
