In September 2024 War Child launched it\u2019s first limited edition football shirt. <\/p>
The shirt, which will be the first in a series of \u201cWar Child United<\/strong><\/a>\u201d releases, has been created to utilise football\u2019s global reach to highlight the suffering of children and young people in The Central African Republic (CAR).<\/p> The nation has been engulfed by a humanitarian tragedy for a decade, brought about by political instability and clashes between different factions.<\/p> For many children and young people this can mean separation from their families, violence, sexual abuse, or recruitment into armed groups.
